Back Porch Gospel is a one-hour television program which began in January of 2005 and has aired in several markets since that time. The program is a 'laid back' hour-long showing of mostly local talent to the area where it is being aired. The name was derived by Gene Collett, from his memory as a boy, of the homefolks gathering on their back porch in the hills of Kentucky to sing gospel music on Saturday and Sunday evening before going to bed. It is totally produced in house by the staff at Sonrise Productions Studios and is a sponsored production. Gene usually has a co-host on each program, from various walks of life. Sometimes it's a local pastor, other times it may be a gospel singer or other celebrity, depending on who is available at the time of filming. It is a syndicated show and designed to air in several markets at the same time, with area groups and guests, known to that particular region. It is reproduced (copied) with an identifying number each week, so if a viewer misses a show or wants to save it for some reason, they can order a DVD of it by date and program number. Back Porch Gospel Television Sponsorship There are two types of Sponsors: 1. Anchor : These are negotiated contracts for advertising airtime defined by sponsor television needs, depending on commercial copy production costs and market position of Sponsor. 2. Crawl : Your
ad text will be on a continual “crawl” during the 60 minute program. On
an average of at least once every 3 minutes, your ad will be visible on
the crawl.
· Bonus! As an added bonus, on one or more of the programs during your contract with Sonrise Productions, your business will be highlighted by the host. Highlighted sponsors will be placed in programs in the order of contract sign-up. · Your business will be up on the screen at the beginning and the end of the program! · Exclusivity: No other Anchor or Crawl Sponsor with same services/product (competitor) will be on the program.
